Perry was right: Soc. Security is a Ponzi scheme

Glenn recapped the GOP debate last night, one which saw two clear frontrunners pull away from the pack. Mitt Romney and Rick Perry took center stage early and often, engaging in a few clashes over jobs and social security. Rick Perry took some heat from the moderators for calling Social Security a 'Ponzi scheme' - but was he wrong? Glenn answers on radio today. Get the full story at GlennBeck.com.

Background for the Media: Definition of a Ponzi scheme

Romney does well overall, stumbles on Soc. Security

Once again Romney played the Presidential role fairly well and looked the part, but he did have a couple of not so great moments. One of those was his response to Perry's (correct) description of Social Security as a 'Ponzi scheme', in which he made it seem like he preferred pandering over the truth. Check out the clip and Glenn's reaction on radio today. WATCH

I can offer you more hugs!

Glenn went off on a classic Beck rant today, frustrated at the game playing done by politicians. Glenn warned there isn't time to waste on another progressive candidate who's just offering more of the same - big spending, big government, and the candidates who try to out 'hug' the other. Glenn explains on radio today: WATCH.
