Out of the thousands of media in attendance at Jon Stewart's rally over the weekend, none seemed too interested in the fact that the artist Yusuf Islam (formerly known as Cat Stevens) made an appearance. Election Eve: GOP lead & CBS manufacturing stories
The latest Gallup polling has Republicans with a huge 15 point advantage among likely voters. But don't get too cocky yet - that advantage hinges solely on voter turnout. The less people show up, the less the gap - if there is normal turnout then the gap shrinks to a 4 point lead for the GOP. Obama was heckled again while on the campaign trail - this time it was a group of AIDS activists giving him grief. Obama then wrongfully explains that 'the other side' doesn't want to fund AIDS. Carter: Fox 'implants' falsehoods
President Jimmy Carter accused Fox News of implanting fake stories about President Obama, and said they've done a good job portraying Obama as not a citizen. Carter's proof? Nothing.
