On August 28th hundreds of thousands of people streamed to the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
They participated in a day of honor. A day of peace. A day of faith.
It was a day to be remembered forever—but, unfortunately, many of us won’t. We’ll go back to our daily lives and forget that, for a few amazing hours, people from all walks of life came together to restore God to His rightful place.
To help keep the spirit of 8/28 alive, Glenn is creating a special, limited edition photo book with images that were originally captured for his own personal use.
The book will not just be a souvenir, it will be a way to permanently reconnect with the message of the day; a reminder that all things are possible through a focus on faith, hope and charity.
ABOUT THE BOOK
Packed with never-before-seen images from 8/28 (along with the week leading up to it), this photo book will be a constant reminder of what the day was really all about: Faith—people from all walks of life holding hands and praying with each other; Hope—a proud father hugging his young son; and Charity—strangers offering food, water and even hotel rooms to others.
While many of the stunning shots were taken by George Lange (Glenn’s personal photographer), others were taken by ordinary people who put their lives on hold to come to the mall that day. Together, these photos, combined with thoughts from Glenn and personal stories from those who attended, paint an enduring picture of love, respect and honor that is worth far more than the words spoken that weekend.
This is a hardcover, oversized book printed with the finest materials to ensure that it will last a lifetime. It will ship in early December and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this book will go to support the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
