CNN host shamelessly attacks Rand Paul

August 01, 2011   On Today's Program Glenn Beck: Debt deal is bad news   The media is expressing near unanimous relief that a deal has been reached in the debt ceiling debate. However, just because there's a deal doesn't mean everything is fine and dandy. Glenn wrote an extensive commentary on the 'deal' that he calls 'bad news' -- catch Glenn's reaction to the uninspiring specifics of the so-called debt deal HERE. Rand Paul has the oh-so 'extreme' right wing view that America should balance the budget, and for this he was treated incredibly poorly by a CNN 'journalist' during an interview. Emanuel Cleaver sparked some reaction when he tweeted that the debt deal is a 'sugar-coated Satan sandwich' followed by a parade of tweets to further explain his claim. Among the many reasons he lists, the lack of 'revenue increases' is a main concern. Revenue increases? That's spineless liberal speak for 'tax increases,' by the way.
