Irene's damage prevents Stu from reaching NYC
Stu called in to radio today to explain his absence - it was a pretty understandable excuse. After driving 2 and a half hours and making it only a fraction of the way to NYC, Stu turned around and headed back home - to no power and several downed trees.

Odd: MLK's daughter targets Lincoln
Abraham Lincoln is universally considered a key figure in the civil rights movement and is largely considered the driving force in the abolition of slavery. But that's not stopping a new and bizarre line of attack from MLK's daughter, who spoke in DC on the anniversary of the "I Have Dream" speech.
