America's future? Man left to drown in England because water 'too deep' for rescue crews
That could be a reasonable excuse, if the water wasn't only 3 ft deep. Rescue crews were actually given an order to NOT jump in after the drowning man because he was 'probably' already dead and (this is real) the rescuers only had level 1 water rescue training. They needed level 2. While they pondered government regulations on rescue -- the man died. Glenn has more on the story HERE.
