NYT's Paul Krugman says 9/11 is an "occasion for shame" Al Jazeera wasn't the only news outlet criticizing the way we remembered the biggest tragedy in our nation's recent history - The New York Times chose to dedicate some space to bash George W. Bush, Rudy Giuliani, and others who stepped up to lead on that tragic day. For some reason, Krugman decided that it was appropriate to use his column to play partisan politics and divide us as a nation rather than as an opportunity to promote remembrance and unity - that's a real occasion for shame.
